The online world is growing, and the way companies work and the needs of employees are changing.<br\/>Mentoring<br\/><br\/><br\/>Simply put, a mentor is someone who offers their knowledge, expertise, and advice to those who are less experienced. A mentor uses their experience and skills to guide their employees in the right direction. A mentor helps new employees find professional growth opportunities, gain confidence, and improve their personal skills.This help and support is based on the mentor&#8217;s personal experiences and learnings, which will help build greater confidence among employees.    <br\/><strong>Duties of the mentor<\/strong><br\/>A business mentor supports and encourages new employees with regard to their professional growth and development of interpersonal and communication skills, and in particular, helps them explore their career options and choices, set development goals, make new connections, and identify resources.In this approach, a mentor acts as a role model and professional advisor to employees. The role of a mentor evolves over time based on the changing needs of new employees.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In most cases, mentoring relationships are informal, while such relationships can occasionally be more formal. In formal mentoring relationships, mentors follow predetermined and structured procedures to set and adjust realistic expectations, achieve and enhance mutual benefits, and improve the quality of employees.Good mentors are always willing to share their skills and knowledge with younger employees, and since they have faced the same challenges as new employees, they can empathize with their needs more.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mentors bring a positive attitude and willingness to tackle problems to inspire and build confidence and trust in their performance. This quality helps them more easily discuss professional goals and concerns with younger employees.<br\/>From a business perspective, mentors help employees build self-confidence, develop skills, and enhance their credibility.
